We are a small company, located in Buffalo, NY, that started off as just a frustration with electric violins. Upon founding EVL, we wanted a quality electric violin, that felt natural and sounded great. Not finding anything on the market to suit the basic needs of a musician, we came up with a plan to build our own. From there we developed the instruments you see on this web page, designed by musicians for musicians. We offer high quality at affordable prices, and that's been our goal since the beginning. I play these violins myself at shows and in the studio, and am constantly striving to make what I consider the perfect electric violin. Our latest violins are a culmination of years worth of design, playing, tweaking, and dedication to creating the best.
